Book Review: DOE by Rebecca Barrow

 

Sometimes, when looking for a new book to read, you find yourself in the mood for something more. Something that is unlike what you've been reading. Doe was one of those books. A novel in verse and a horror novel; both things that I don't read very often, though I do enjoy both of them. But I was intiruged by the cover and summary and decided to give this book a shot. I am a sucker for sapphic books. This is probably nothing new to anyone. No big revelation. But, if I'm in the right mindset, I especially love sapphic Science Fiction and Fantasy books. Review: LET THE MASK FALL by G.E. Masters

 

I discovered Let the Mask Fall at some point in the last couple of months when I was digging through lists and lists of sapphic dark romances. The name popped up once and then it never seemed to go away. I saw it everywhere. When I saw someone with a proof copy of it up for trade…I couldn’t miss my chance.

Review: CABIN CLAUSE by Frankie Fyre

 

I've read a lot of sapphic books over the years, from a variety of authors. From older authors who no longer write to newer authors just getting their start. I love reading sapphic books, but I especially love reading sapphic books by new authors. Not new as in fresh, but new-to-me. So finally, finally getting to read a book by Frankie Fyre was amazing!

If you're looking for a short read with a sweet romance and steamy (or would that be frozen?) scenes, I recommend giving this book a chance. It's a relatively easy read, going down nice and smooth like the most delicious cup of hot chocolate. Take care and happy reading!

Review: LITTLE LAMB by Cirrus Rae

 

Cirrus Rae popped up on my TikTok feed one day and then just...never left. I only recently got into dark romance (or in this case, erotic thriller) type of books, but when I first heard about the Masked Masc series, I knew that I wanted to read them. A trio of books each following their own romance with, as the name implies, a masked masc. Chasing and stalking galore, I was sold on these books. As soon as I saw the application for ARC readers, I applied. I held my breath, crossed my fingers, and hoped for the best. My joy when I got that email saying that I had been chosen was immeasurable.

A book for those who watched Scream and wanted a chase scene of their own (minus the death and with a bit more spice, of course). Little Lamb, and the rest of the series, are erotic thrillers so make sure to check out the content and trigger warnings included below. Happy reading!
