Review: Her Royal Highness

Her Royal Highness Her Royal Highness by Rachel Hawkins
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

3.5/5 rounded up

There is not much I feel I can say about this book.

At times, the writing was annoying, but it was the kind of annoying that I expect to see from a book geared towards YA readers. Not horrible or anything like that, just certain things that put me off the book a bit.

The ending also felt a bit rushed. Not just them seemingly just falling in love with each other shortly after becoming friends but the conflict towards the end felt forced and the resolution just felt unnecessary and like there was more that had to be said.

Outside of that the book was good. I didn't think it was great by any lengths but there is not much wrong with it. It is a cute enemies-to-lovers story with relatively minimal drama. For what it is worth, it is a good read.
