and universe.
This book was absolutely amazing. It’s a multiverse of the various Rick Riordan Presents characters with 10 individual stories based around these characters. The stories aren’t overly long usually around 50-80 pages it seems. A good length to allow the conflict to build up while also not feeling dragged out.
These stories were amazing! Each story featured a different character who had a different problem to solve, but each of them had a hero’s journey to go on. It was amazing to read about the various myths and creatures that were featured in these stories. No two stories dealt with their problem in the exact same way, and I especially loved the creativity that the various heroes employed in order to solve the problem.
This is an anthology which means that I did like some stories more than others. I will admit that my favorites were probably The Cave of Doom by J.C. Cervantes and The Loneliest Demon by Sarwat Chadda. One of my favorite things will reading this is that you don’t necessarily have to have read the connected books to understand what’s going on. There might be a couple points where you are confused, but I found that it was minimal, and I was easily able to figure out the characters and their story.
These stories and heroes were so amazing that my desire to read these books has been shoved up. I’m going to have to find the time to drown myself in these books and worlds.
