Review: SWEET AS REVENGE by Cirrus Rae

Ooh the excitement I felt when I got the ARC email for this book!!! It was practically unmatched. Each time I got one of these books and finished it, I grew more and more excited for the next. So this book, both a spinoff and a culmination of the series, had me riding high! I am ever so thankful that not only did I stumble across Cirrus Rae's TikTok, but also that she kept me as an ARC reader for all 4 of these books. Thank you so much to her for allowing me to read this. And I truly hope that you enjoy the Masked Mascs series as much as I have!

If you remember Gia from Till Death, you might be very interested in this book. If the thought of falling for the "other woman" while seeking revenge on your cheating girlfriend sounds appealing, ooh this book might have something for you. There might be less fear in this book, at least for the protagonists, but there's still a darkness in it that calls towards the darkness that lingers in all of us. Make sure to check the trigger warnings and, if you haven't already, I do recommend reading the other three books in the Masked Mascs series before reading this one. Take care and happy reading!

Review: TILL DEATH by Cirrus Rae

Are you ready for the third book in the Masked Mascs series?? I sure wasn't. Another erotic thriller by Cirrus Rae that had me panting and gasping for more. I was powerless against the draw of this book. I had issues downloading it this time, thanks computer, and I was practically buzzing all day until the issue got fixed and I was able to read it. Alba may be my favorite leading lady in this series and I hope she's yours as well. A harsher book than the two previous ones, and that's saying something, Till Death may not be for everyone so take care and don't force yourself past your comfort zone.

If you've secretly craved running from a killer through the woods, this book is written for you. If the sounds of hatchets and combat boots get you going. If you want to be tied up and forced to do those kinky things that linger in the back of your brain but you'll never admit it. Till Death has what you're looking for. Just make sure to check the content and trigger warnings before reading. Take care and have fun!

Review: INTO THE FIRE by Cirrus Rae

What's this? Another review so soon? Yeah, I might have been waiting in anticipation for this book! The second I opened the email, I had it downloaded and ready for me to read. Much like Little Lamb, I wound up reading this book in one sitting. Cirrus Rae is very quickly moving into the category of "Auto-Read Author" for me. I don't know how Cirrus Rae manages it, but I just get dragged into her stories and wind up enjoying the hell out of them. This book has a different tone than the previous book and different trigger warnings to go along with it.

A book for those who have dreamed about being watched by someone so obsessed with you that they'll do anything, and everything, to have you. Whether it be fuck you to within an inch of consciousness or kill your ex, they'll do it. Into the Fire and the rest of the Masked Mascs books are erotic thrillers, so do make sure to check the trigger and content warnings before reading. If something will trigger you, don't feel as though you must read it. If it all sounds fun to you, have a great time!

Review: LITTLE LAMB by Cirrus Rae

Cirrus Rae popped up on my TikTok feed one day and then just...never left. I only recently got into dark romance (or in this case, erotic thriller) type of books, but when I first heard about the Masked Masc series, I knew that I wanted to read them. A trio of books each following their own romance with, as the name implies, a masked masc. Chasing and stalking galore, I was sold on these books. As soon as I saw the application for ARC readers, I applied. I held my breath, crossed my fingers, and hoped for the best. My joy when I got that email saying that I had been chosen was immeasurable.

A book for those who watched Scream and wanted a chase scene of their own (minus the death and with a bit more spice, of course). Little Lamb, and the rest of the series, are erotic thrillers so make sure to check out the content and trigger warnings included below. Happy reading!
