Review: BETWEEN SUN AND SHADOW by Laura Genn

I am a sucker for sapphic books. This is probably nothing new to anyone. No big revelation. But, if I'm in the right mindset, I especially love sapphic Science Fiction and Fantasy books. There's something about a brand new world that I just adore. This review was originally posted over on YABooksCentral and can be read using this link.

If you enjoy challenging the systems you were raised in, falling in love along the way, and ending up with two wildly adorable "children"; this book might be just what you're looking for. Check the trigger warnings first though, there's quite a few. Happy reading!

Thank you so much to Toppling Stacks Tours for allowing me to take part in this tour for Being Aro. I'm always looking for books that allow me to explore my identity. It's not something I got to do when I was younger, so I love getting the chance to now!

Thank you so much to Toppling Stacks Tours for allowing me to take part in this tour for I Was a Teenage Death God. The plot sounded interesting from the start, but even before reading it I knew I wanted to read this book. I like to read books with trans characters and this book has two trans characters that are main characters!!!!

Review: LET THE MASK FALL by G.E. Masters

I discovered Let the Mask Fall at some point in the last couple of months when I was digging through lists and lists of sapphic dark romances. The name popped up once and then it never seemed to go away. I saw it everywhere. When I saw someone with a proof copy of it up for trade…I couldn’t miss my chance.

If you're in the mood for: romance between a stalker and the woman she's inexplicably drawn to, kinky sex, and revenge; check out this book. Make sure to check the trigger and kink warnings first though. Happy reading!

Review: SWITCH by Kat Blackthorne

There are some books that linger in your head and you want to read them, you know you do. But it just...doesn't happen for a while. sWitch is one of those books. I knew I wanted to read it. I really did. Every part of it just screamed for me to read it. But it took months for me to actually be in the right mood and place to read it. And I am so glad that I did. I was hooked to this book like a fish on a line. Certain parts are certainly ingrained into my brain and I don't think I want to get rid of them. My only problem right now? I don't own a physical copy of the book (or the RIP book box edition).

If you're in the mood for a taboo romcom, fucking your brother's girlfriend, and sex both physically and virtually, this book will give you all that you desire.

Book Tour: FREDDIE AND STELLA GOT HOT

Thank you so much to Toppling Stacks Tours for allowing me to take part in this tour for Freddie and Stella Got Hot. This is a new book, released only a few days ago, and I had been hearing about it for a bit before the tour announcement came out. So when they were looking for hosts to take part, I jumped at the chance. It sounded like fun!

Review: CABIN CLAUSE by Frankie Fyre

I've read a lot of sapphic books over the years, from a variety of authors. From older authors who no longer write to newer authors just getting their start. I love reading sapphic books, but I especially love reading sapphic books by new authors. Not new as in fresh, but new-to-me. So finally, finally getting to read a book by Frankie Fyre was amazing!

If you're looking for a short read with a sweet romance and steamy (or would that be frozen?) scenes, I recommend giving this book a chance. It's a relatively easy read, going down nice and smooth like the most delicious cup of hot chocolate. Take care and happy reading!

Review: MY SWEET GIRL by Char Dafoe

I wasn't quite sure what I was expecting when I picked up this book. I don't think I've read anything by Char Dafoe before, but the plot sounded interesting so I wanted to give it a chance. It's a sweet New Adult book with inoffensive characters and a relatively quick and simple romance.

If you're looking for a book with low angst, likeable characters, and a sweet and simple plot, you might enjoy this book. I have some...complicated feelings about it, but the writing is solid and other readers may enjoy it more than I did. Take care and happy reading!
