Review: BETWEEN SUN AND SHADOW by Laura Genn

I am a sucker for sapphic books. This is probably nothing new to anyone. No big revelation. But, if I'm in the right mindset, I especially love sapphic Science Fiction and Fantasy books. There's something about a brand new world that I just adore. This review was originally posted over on YABooksCentral and can be read using this link.

If you enjoy challenging the systems you were raised in, falling in love along the way, and ending up with two wildly adorable "children"; this book might be just what you're looking for. Check the trigger warnings first though, there's quite a few. Happy reading!

Review: Behind the Pine Curtain

Behind the Pine Curtain Behind the Pine Curtain by Gerri Hill
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Finished on March 28, 2021
Favorite Scene/Quote: "Tonight, you're mine."
"I've always been yours."

3.75/5

This was a nice, enjoyable read. It’s about 250 pages long and features two likeable characters. I’ll likely reread some time later when I just want something short and sweet to make me happy.

Review: Homecoming

Homecoming Homecoming by Celeste Castro
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Finished on March 22, 2021
Favorite Scene/Quote: "Only hope lived in Dusty's heart now. Hope for a positive future with the woman that had come into her life, turned it upside down, shown her how to move on and live in the moment."

3.75/5 rounded up

I thought this book was a nice read. Not too much drama that it felt overdone, well-written, and some personal favorite tropes of mine.
