Review:
Just by the absolute first chapter of this book, I was hooked. The author's writing was just interesting to me. It starts off with a wildly chaotic and funny dentist visit that doesn't last long but will likely be etched into my memory for a while.
Beyond that: the plot is just really interesting. I'll admit that I have a soft spot for books that take place around food or drink related areas. Kitchens, cooking shows, vineyards, B&B's; I'm a sucker of the whole lot of them. So I was fascinated when we got little snippets of the winemaking world. It was fascinating to me.
I also tend to like romances like this. Where they aren't enemies, but there's a certain level of tension there. So I was set from the getgo on this book. The chemistry between Zoe and Laine was amazing. I was drawn in by the way they met and the interactions that they had. I just wanted more and more of these two characters.
It's hard sometimes to write well thoughtout reviews when I'm trying not to include spoilers and when my emotions are just caught up in me. So I apologize if this review seems lackluster. But the reality is, I just can't find the words to describe this book. I adored it. I started reading it and stayed up late in the night to finish it. I wanted more and more from this romance. More time, more sex, more everything. I just wanted more!
