Review:
This was an enjoyable read for me. I had a really fun time with this book for the most part. I especially enjoyed the dialogue in the book. The author has a skill of balancing serious topics and humor that allows for the story to move forward, but also doesn't require it to always be moving. Progress is made, but the story isn't sprinting towards a finish line the entire time.
The characters in this book were pretty nice. I enjoyed them well enough. They had nice and believable interactions with each other and they left me wanting a bit more time with them. It was enjoyable.
The plot was honestly just really well-written and handled. The story moved at a nice pace and I found myself invested in the story. There were clear goals and obstacles for the characters and the author kept it reasonable. It wasn't drowning in various random obstacles.

-"It was so hard for me to save even that."
-"Great news: I do not have a full stomach."

"Just Captain."
