Bitty learning to play hockey
Review:
This was a really cute comic. Bitty is such an adorable character and I absolutely loved the rest of the hockey group. The entire group was a lot of fun. There was a lot of personality built into these characters and they were all such intriguing characters. They all had great dynamics with each other, and it was such positive interactions. I also loved that none of these characters really seemed to be toxic. No one gave Bitty anything for his baking or not being able to take a check, it was just Bitty being Bitty.
My issue with this book is that the ending seemed to come out of nowhere. You do see that Bitty has a crush on him, but nothing that seemed to point towards a budding relationship. Maybe it's just me. Maybe there were things I missed/ignored that actually made the relationship seem like it was built up and not out of nowhere.
I really look forward to reading the next book. This one was absolutely adorable, and I can't wait to see where it goes from here. Bitty was such a sweet character and I can't wait to see more of him. I'm hoping that I can get the next book soon enough, but that's going to have to depend on my library.
