Review:
This was a reread to fulfill a challenge that I was taking part in. Also, I couldn't really remember the book but it was by Gerri Hill so I figured rereading it couldn't hurt.

I really liked these characters. Shelby and Reagan had nice interactions with each other even if the two of them didn't exactly have off the chart's chemistry. They were cute together and I quite loved their interactions, but I don't remember it being extremely hot when they were together. Not in a bad way. The two balanced each other really well! I just kind of wish there had been a bit more chemistry between them before things got intimate. Also, other people thought differently.

I just briefly discussed the two characters, but I want to mention that I love Reagan. She's such a sweet character who is carrying such a heavy load on her shoulder. It was so great that Shelby and others were able to help her come to terms with what had happened with her. Shelby's a great character too, don't get me wrong. She's sweet and understanding with a level head on her shoulder.

The setting of this book is amazing! I am an absolute sucker for places like that. Areas in or near woods with trails and beautiful weather and scenery. I love the way certain areas were described in this book. It made me want to be there and experience these locations.

I discovered something new that turns me off while reading a book. It's one of two minor things that really stopped me from loving the book. It was the way Shelby's sister, and her mom but for different reasons, didn't tell the best man that she was gay or help her dissuade him. I didn't expect this to bug me this much and at first it didn't. The longer it dragged on though with her sister teasing her about it and her mom being convinced that she'll turn straight, it just dug at me. I just couldn't stand it.

My other minor issue is that Shelby's sister and Reagan's brother were getting married. It's not a huge issue, just kind of eh for me. I would have preferred if Reagan had been the groom's cousin and not his sister.
