Review:
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this book. I don't always like books with darker elements in them, but I had no problem with this book. I was engaged from the beginning of the story and it held me through until the end!
The writing style in this book flowed very well for me. It was one of those writing styles that just clicked with me immediately and I was so happy about that. Even a poorly plotted book reads better to me when the writing style is one that I enjoy. The author's voice just spoke to me and I was hooked.
The plot of this book was quite interesting. I didn't always love it, but I was always invested in it. The story was pretty well-paced and I found myself curious about the upcoming events. How were the teens going to get themselves out of this situation? It was an engaging read.
I quite enjoyed the characters in this book. They didn't always feel realistic to me, but I did enjoy reading about them. Watching as they tried to handle everything that was thrown at them was honestly a lot of fun.

"But that-that was the first time I ever saw a miracle."
