Review:
I read this book pretty much immediately after finishing Full English because I wanted to see Lady Victoria get her happy ending. I absolutely loved the previous book and was looking forward to this one to see whether it was going to be the same. I ended up staying up till 3 in the morning to finish this book the night I started it.

The characters in this book are amazing. Neither character is flawless, but they aren't bad characters. Their connection, especially at the beginning when they weren't getting along, was really nice. They were both multilayered and it was a lot of fun to learn more about them as they grew closer and talked more. They also had a really nice and steamy connection.

Spangler did a great job at finding a good balance between humor and fun, bonding between the characters, and the necessary angst needed to move plots forward. I don't often like the cliche 3rd act breakup that seems to always happen. I put up with it, but it just bothers me that it's become so commonplace. Spangler does it in a way that makes sense with the characters and their motivations. It never feels too forced.

The only reason this book isn't a 5 out of 5 for me is Sophia's resistance to an actual relationship. While I loved the relationship and how it developed, but Sophia's hesitance got a little annoying. It just felt a bit back-and-forth to me on whether she actually wanted to be with Victoria. It wasn't dragged out a whole lot, but it was enough where I had a bit of hesitance because I was worried that it wasn't going to be handled well.

One interesting side effect of this book is that it made me want to read In Development again. A couple characters from that book, as well as from Full English, feature in the story.

At this point I think Rachel Spangler might be an auto-read author for me. Her books just work with me. I would definitely recommend this book. Personally, I'd recommend reading Full English first, but you can definitely read this book without reading the previous title. The characters in this book were a lot of fun, especially when they first met. I really enjoyed their interactions even if some of Sophia's actions felt a bit back-and-forth to me. I have a couple of minor issues with this book, but it really wasn't enough to take away from my enjoyment. I read this book in one sitting because I absolutely loved the characters, their connection, and the setting so much.
