"A mantra-esque refrain unites Tarpley’s rhyming statements throughout, encouraging readers to embrace their multitudes....An empowering visual essay." ―Publishers Weekly

My Rating: 5/5 stars

My Review:
This book is absolutely wonderful. The pictures are amazing and the book and words are full of so much Black Girl Magic and Black Boy Joy (or any different combination). I personally loved that there was a part where it says that sometimes they make mistakes. This entire book is glorious, but that's especially a topic that's not mentioned enough when talking to/about young children. This book reads like a morning affirmation or a song.
